Size guide
Our clothes come from several workshops, and they don't all write sizes the same way. This page helps you find your way before you order.
Sizes
Our sizes use the standard S to 3XL scale. Here is a rough equivalent in UK women's dress sizes:

These equivalents are a guide only: our clothes have a unisex fit, cut straighter than typical womenswear.
Kids' sizes
The kids' Christmas jumper comes in ages 2 to 7. Sizes are given by age, so there's nothing to convert.
One size
A few knitted jumpers come in one size. They're cut loose and generally fit UK sizes 8 to 16. If you're outside that range, drop us a line before ordering rather than taking a chance.
Printed T-shirt measurements
These are the measurements of the T-shirt laid flat, in centimetres. Width is measured from one armpit seam to the other: double it to get the chest measurement.

This table applies to printed T-shirts only. Sweatshirts and knitted jumpers come from different workshops and fit differently: for those, write to us.
How to measure yourself in two minutes
Take a top you wear often and that fits you well, lay it flat, and measure:
- Chest width — from one armpit seam to the other. Double it to get the full chest.
- Length — from the top of the shoulder to the hem.
Then compare with a similar garment. It's more reliable than measuring yourself with a tape measure, where you always pull too tight or not tight enough.
Between two sizes?
Go for the bigger one. Two reasons: the fit is unisex, so fairly straight, and a Christmas jumper is often worn over another top. A slightly loose jumper is still wearable; one that's too tight isn't.

Apart from the T-shirts above, exact dimensions vary from one workshop to another. If you're unsure about a particular design, email contact@aupieddusapin.fr with the product name and we'll send you that design's measurements before you order.
It takes longer than a table, but it's honest: we'd rather give you a precise answer than show approximate figures.
